BrightBytes Named SIIA Education CODiE Award Finalist for Best K-12 Enterprise Solution

Technology & Learning Module Earns Prestigious Education Industry Recognition

San Francisco, CA, April 1, 2015 – BrightBytes, an award-winning educational research and analysis organization that works with one in seven US schools, announced that its Technology & Learning module was named a finalist for the 2015 SIIA CODiE Awards for Best K-12 Enterprise Solution. The SIIA CODiE Awards are the premier award for the software and information industries, and have been recognizing product excellence for 29 years.

The Technology & Learning module is a fast, actionable solution for measuring and driving the impact of school technology use. In less than 15 minutes, districts receive a customized, web-based dashboard highlighting their strengths and gaps, plus a personalized set of recommended improvements. The Technology & Learning module relies on a powerful framework called CASE. It paints a clear picture of the availability of existing resources, infrastructure, and skills to support meaningful learning through technology.

The Technology & Learning Module is one of six BrightBytes modules available on the Clarity platform today. Several more will be released before the end of the year. All provide educational leaders with meaningful research, data, and personalized recommendations for improving their specific areas of need. By making more informed decisions, districts and states save valuable time and money, while driving learning.

This year’s CODiE Awards features 28 education categories, several of which are new or updated to reflect the latest industry trends and business models. All winners will be announced during a special awards dinner at the nation’s leading education technology conference, the Education Industry Summit, in San Francisco on May 5. The announcement will also be live streamed.

“This year’s finalists are breaking ground with new business models and innovative products. We are pleased to recognize the best in educational technology with these 157 products,” said Karen Billings, vice president of the SIIA Education Technology Industry Network. “I look forward to honoring them all in May at the Education Industry Summit.”
